Charles Leaver: From Entry-Level to CEO

One of Chuck Leaver's first jobs was an entry-level position with a company called DA/EE. This entry-level position may not have meant much to many others, but it meant a great deal to Charles Leaver and he worked hard as a result. He wanted to prove that he was worth of the job and soon found that his superiors not only thought he was worthy of that job, but of increasingly important positions. Through hard work, Chuck Leaver scaled his way through the company's management levels, eventually being appointed Chief Executive Officer of DA/EE. He led DA/EE to drive up its public offering to the $750 million market cap. From that point forward he knew that his interest was in holding senior leadership positions, which he was clearly well suited to.

Today, Charles Leaver is the CEO of Ziften, a company that he is proud to be associated with. They offer their clients high quality software solutions to their most difficult problems. Ziften was not foreign to him when he took over as CEO, though, as Chuck Leaver had previously served on the Board of Directors as Chairman. He understood from the beginning that the company had all the tools that it needed to succeed, it simply needed a strong executive leader to put all those tools together and spur the company on to bigger and better things.
